Flowery Leaf: A Glow in the Dark Experiment
I made this project last Christmas when I was quite busy wrapping gifts. I never tried glow in the dark polymer clay before and I realized that my clays which were bought years ago were already hardened. I found out that my glow in the dark clays were also stiff so I mixed it with liquid clay to soften. I love the colors light green and pink, perfect for a flower and leaves accent. I just love this piece that I decided it to keep and include it to my "treasure box".
One night, when suddenly lights were out and power shortage incident happened in our place. I got no lights to put on but this piece I made left on my working table. I was amazed, tested my wits that this clay thing is really glow in the dark.

Store Opening
,Last week, I was frantically busy preparing, designing and thinking out of the box ideas for the store opening. The Alex & Alen Craft will now have its physical store, in partnership with a fellow classmate from my elementary years. I was so excited that finally, at least, one of my dreams will come true. Thanks to Sheila who personally invited me to join with her store. Immediately, I thought of a concept that would stand out my handmade accessories in the display. I used driftwood to display the accessories which I only gathered from our surroundings in the camp. Then I let someone do the grit and varnished the wood. Too bad that I didn't have photos on them.
Two days before opening, two items were sold already. I was inspired to do more for the store. Even though my work demands most of my time, I still want to sneak from it make some designs. No more free time, not even love life.

For Ameerah
Her father requested me to make some foodies for her mini store. These were actually longed overdue since it was requested during the summer vacation. Her dad and Ameerah would play a mini role playing of a buyer (dad) and store owner ( Ameerah) every night before they go to sleep during summer. An idea was born out when I sent her a gift for her Kindergarten graduation.
